Creative Endeavors is a 6 week, interactive and project-based workshop led by creative experts and professionals. Take the next step in your creative work, develop your artistic process, hone your wellness practice, and launch a project that will help you move forward and connect with your audience.

Throughout the 6 week course, participants will create, develop, and launch their work.

Sessions start Feb. 5th, Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. at The Palace Theater in Hamilton, NY.

• Session 1 - 2/5 - Welcome, Work, Barriers, & Motivations

• Session 2 - 2/12 - Creative Wellness, Process, and Design Your Life

• Session 3 - 2/19 - Planning and Goal Setting

• Session 4 - 2/26 - Collaborators, Partnerships, Funding

• Session 5 - 3/5 - Artists Statements, Marketing, Voice

• Session 6 - 3/12 - Show & Tell: Presentations & Sharing (Open To Public)

Audience:

• Community members in the Central New York Region

• May be interested in making a career out of their creative talent or of doing something on the side

• May be offering a creative service or selling a physical product

• Artists looking to expand their practice for non-commercial purposes

Learning outcomes:

• Develop a potentially viable business idea based on your creative talent

• Strengthen your health and wellness through your creative practice

• Develop a deeper understanding of your creative process, interests, and desires for your creative talent

• Analyze the specific characteristics of your target audience and ways to connect with them

• Understand different funding approaches, careers, and resources available for next steps
